Homeschool Resources

The biggest homeschool resources are frankly, your own energy, your kids interests, and your peer group of other parents.  Lets focus for a minute on the other parents. Talking and meeting and working with other homeschool parents is a tremendous way to leverage their energies, talents, and skills.   You can both work locally with those that you meet and can physically be with. And you can go online and find parents to discuss with.  For instance, in terms of great forums to network with other parents:

Eclectic Homeschool Parents
Online Homeschool Parents Forum
Lets Homeschool Highschool

Another set of homeschool resources are the articles, websites, and books in which people have thoughfully laid out their experience and advice. I won't try to review them here other than two specific ones:

An Introduction to Homeschooling
Rebecca Kochendorfer's Homeschooling Book

Other resources to investigate and consider:

Local homeschool groups for each state
Online Virtual Schools - Public
Private Charter Schools Online
Online Learning Services
Online Courses
Homeschool Resource Wholesalers (selling mostly books and printed curriculum)
Local Community Colleges
Your Highschool might allow you to take some courses
