Local Homeschool Info Online

And I'll quote this about local homeschool info in the parents forum....

Time4Learning gets questions every week from potential and new homeschoolers.

BTW, the first two states that we have state reps for: North Carolina homeschool info and Oregon Homeschool info.

We would like to be as helpful as possible and so we provide a range of resources:
- A free downloadable Welcome to Homeschooling Guide.
- A Getting Started Online Guide for new Time4Learning members.
- A friendly online parents forum to answer questions.

And starting in January of 2009, we are building a network of experienced homeschoolers to help new homeschoolers with local homeschool information.
For each state, we are picking an individual to help homeschoolers connect with local contacts and provide some specific information for that state. (If you are Interested in being a Time4Learning State Rep? Click here.)

This section of the forum is for discussions about local resources. As each State Rep is picked, we will start a discussion for that state. We welcome feedback. For instance:- Should we in some cases split the states in several parts? - Are there other countries or territories where we should try providing information and hosting a thread? Military homeschoolers, missionaries, State Department families, and other expats would be good candidates.
